The lyrics for It's Not Okay were written in 2015 after Teresa learned about the Brock Turner rape trial. In response, she felt that more womens voices needed to be added to the conversation. It's perhaps no coincidence the #MeToo movement started shortly after.
It's Not Okay is still a powerful message and we're proud to be releasing the official recording of it for International Women's Day on March 8th, 2024.
